SME Gateway Limited

SME Gateway Limited provides professional services over a broad range of technical and management disciplines gained from member companies operating synergistically through our programme management processes. Focus is on providing support to Commonwealth and State government agencies and major commercial companies. Principle contracting methods with government customers are derived from Request for Tenders for directed support and panel arrangements in which SME Gateway Limited is the panelist and thereby the prime contractor for panels. All work is flowed to member companies through internal subcontract selection processes.

At present member companies to the following Commonwealth panels:

• Defence Materiel Support Services Panel (DMOSS Panel)
• Australian Customs Service Panel for ICT Personnel & Related Services
• Department of Transport & Regional Services Panel for Information Technology Solutions
• Australian Communications and Media Authority Panel
• Defence Support Group Panel for Project Management, Business Management & Support, Administration Support, Engineering, and Modelling (physics based, environmental, and technologies)
• Dept. of Families, Housing, Community Services. And indigenous Affairs Panel
• Defence Support Group Consultancy Services Panel.

New members are given opportunities to join in competing for contracts through these panels. Since SME Gateway provides Project Management for contracts and is the prime contractor, risk management is essential. Our processes are designed to minimize risk for all parties. To participate in contracts, member companies must agree to adhere to the processes for any opportunities in which they choose to participate. Rules are set forth in the General Membership Agreement.
