The South Australian Electronics and ICT Association (EICTA) is a not for profit body formed by the amalgamation of the Electronics Industry Association and the ICT Council for South Australia. Under a new governance structure and business plan the E&ICTA is seeking new business opportunities for its members to secure additional on-going revenue streams as part of its new vision.

SME Gateway is an organisation established to grow Australian Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) through winning contracts and delivering contractual outcomes in the Defence, ICT and Mining business sectors.
Through the Agreement both organisations will work together to secure future business for South Australian based SMEs.

The Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of SME Gateway, Mr. Charles Rudder said:

“This agreement heralds a new chapter for South Australian Electronics and ICT SMEs to gain access to contracts secured by SME Gateway and SME Gateway Alliance. Our model for growing SMEs is very successful with over $27 million of contracts already secured for Australian SMEs over the last 2.5 years. We have just received a Leaping Frog Award for the second highest rate of growth (668.73%) in the value of ICT contracts awarded to small-medium companies by Federal Government Agencies in the 3 years to 30 June 2008. The agreement with EICTA is a key enabler for South Australian SMEs going forward and we look with anticipation to the exciting opportunities ahead”.

The Chief Executive Officer of the EICTA, Mr. Steve Adcock said:
